Wingvault Terms of Use

1. What Wingvault is

Wingvault is a free browser tool that checks a pilot logbook export from ForeFlight, LogTen or a generic CSV for gaps and inconsistencies, and shows a report. It sells nothing, needs no account, and stores no logbook. The full Wingvault app is paused and unreleased.

2. Who provides it

WaveApp LLC runs the site and licenses the checker to you free of charge. There is no purchase, no subscription and no merchant of record, so there is nothing to refund.

3. Your licence

You may use the checker for your own logbook, in your own browser. You must not scrape, overload, reverse-engineer or interfere with the site, and you must not use it to break the law.

4. Your content

The file you pick stays yours and stays in your browser. We claim no rights in it and never receive it. You must have the right to open the file you check.

5. The report is a hint, not a determination

The checker flags what looks inconsistent in an export. It does not know your aircraft, your endorsements or your regulator's rules. A clean report is not proof of compliance, and a flag is not proof of an error. Your logbook of record and your regulator's requirements stay your responsibility.

6. Changes and availability

We will change the checker and the site between releases, and we do not promise that either is free of defects or always available.

7. Warranty

Wingvault is provided as is. Where the law gives you a warranty we cannot exclude, that warranty stands.

8. Liability

The checker is free. To the extent the law allows, WaveApp LLC is not liable for any loss connected to the site or its report, including a missed flight, a failed check ride, an audit finding or lost data. Nothing here limits liability that the law does not let us limit.

9. Law and disputes

These terms follow the law of the State of Wyoming, United States. If you are a consumer, the mandatory protections and courts of the place where you live still apply. Write to hello@wingvault.app first; most problems are settled by email.

10. Changes to these terms

We update this page before a material change takes effect and say so in this list. If one clause cannot be enforced, the rest stand.
