Product commitments

Seven commitments for the Wingvault app. Each one includes a practical check, so you can judge the product by what it does.

1

Your records are yours

Full export stays free for every user. It includes CSV and a printable FAA-style PDF, with signatures, in formats you can keep without Wingvault.

2

Backups carry receipts

Every backup includes its entry count, hours by category, and a checksum. Wingvault can recompute that checksum later and compare it with the original receipt.

settings → backups → choose a receipt → verify

3

Sync shows its work

Each device shows its own entry count and totals. If two devices disagree, Wingvault lists the difference instead of hiding it behind a generic sync status.

4

Core logging works offline

You can open the app, review records, and log a flight without a network connection. Sync resumes when the device reconnects.

5

No AI processing of your logbook

Wingvault does not send logbook data to an AI provider or use AI to parse, classify, summarize, or change your records. AI-assisted tools are used during software development and review; they are not part of the product's logbook-processing path.

6

Billing without traps

Wingvault will show the price before checkout. If a trial is offered, its end date and renewal price will appear before it starts. Imported history will not count toward plan limits.

Support reaches a builder

Messages to [email protected] are read by people who build Wingvault. Automated replies may confirm receipt, but support is not delegated to a chatbot.
